Right now Im having only 2 leaves because I cut all the bad ones out and have dunked the roots in water with some npk fertilizer. Monstera is my favorite genus second to none. Keep in mind that after a leaf develops it will not change.
Without adequate light itll be a waste of energy for your plant to grow big leaves.
About 2-3 weeks ago however I decided to repot it into a 7 pot because I noticed its roots were coming out of the drainage holes of its nursery pot. A Monstera leaf cant create any extra holes during de lifespan of the leaf. Stems with a node and no leaf are often called wet sticks on the interwebs. Youll need to water your Monstera more often and keep humidity in check.
