Monstera Peru are fairly readily available in garden centres that have a decent house plant selection as are adansonii. Outdoors in frost-free areas such as Southern Florida monstera can climb more than 60 feet and the leaves can grow 3 or even 4 feet wide. I have noticed that the prices for adansonii vary wildly. Monstera was introduced to England in 1752 Singapore in 1877 and India in 1878.
