It loves to be drenched every few days and thoroughly misted daily so it really just depends. As a rule of thumb check the top 2-3 inches of soil with your finger. Mealybugs aphids or scale insects all survive and cause damage by using their mouthparts to pierce.
That being said there are a few rules of thumb when it comes to watering Monsteras.
Dont soak the soil and dont get the leaves wet. However some need more some less depending on the season. Monstera adansonii and Monstera friedrichsthalii are the same monstera plant species. Use room-temperature filtered water when watering your plants or let the water sit out overnight so chemicals like chlorine can evaporate.
